Professor Emma Johnston AO is Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) at the University of Sydney. She was previously Dean of Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) at UNSW.

Professor Johnston is a leading authority in marine science and conservation and is a passionate advocate for all types of research. As the past president of Science & Technology Australia (STA), she is a highly influential figure in the Australian higher education and research sector.

Professor Robyn Ward AM FAHMS joined the University of Sydney in July 2018 as the inaugural Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She was the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Executive Dean (Acting) of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland.

Professor Ward is an academic leader, cancer researcher and medical oncologist. She chairs the Commonwealth Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and serves on the Council and Executive of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. In 2013, she was made Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to medical research and patient care in the field of oncology.

Dr Teresa Anderson AM is the Chief Executive of Sydney Local Health District, one of the leading public health services in Australia. She has more than 35 years of experience as a clinician and health service executive. She has a well-established reputation for implementing strategies to foster innovation and best practice, supporting collaboration and building partnerships.

Dr Anderson is a Vice President and has been made a Fellow of the NSW Institute of Public Administration Australia, is a member of eight Medical Research, Health and PHN boards and is an active member of the Sydney Health Partners Governing Council and Executive Management Group, one of the first four centres in Australia designated by the NHMRC as an Advanced Health Research Translation Centre.
